Twenty years is a long time that passes in a blink of an eye. 1998 marked the fi rst year of
our existence, when a red two-door Ford Expedition (yes, they made a two-door) prowled the
Chicago area airports loaded with safety wire, sealant, oil and other assorted aircraft maintenance
products. Friends who worked at Palwaukee, Midway, DuPage, Mitchell, Waukegan,
Rockford, Gary, and Aurora airports helped us build Business Aircraft Consumables through
their knowledge and support. Our fi rst black and white catalog was mailed to NBAA members
using labels created by my daughter Kelly, home on break from her junior year at college.
Today, she runs the company. To those who supported and nurtured us those fi rst years, we
can't say thank you enough. You know who you are, but probably don't realize the impact you've
had on the BAC family. I'd also like to thank my previous employer for encouraging me to strike
