Alternative fuels have drastically
changed the way we do
business. When we fi rst implemented
CNG in 2002, we experienced
signifi cant cost savings in addition
to huge community support that
greatly boosted our image. Now
electric buses even further reduce
our carbon footprint and expense,
and communities are fully embracing
this zero emission technology.
Robertson explained that if the transit industry
is not providing an attractive alternative to personal
cars, people are going to be less likely to take public
transit systems.
