▶ Pulling data from tens of thousands of
social media accounts across the country, AlphaVu’s
National Transit LCB metric measures
sentiment in real time. Using a defi ned set of
operational characteristics, the LCB measures
both the frequency of individuals comments
and the tone — positive and negative — to
understand public opinion.
“Polling is limited to a point in time and
opinions can change rapidly in the digital
news age,” said Scott Wilkinson, CEO of
AlphaVu. “The LCB provides a real-time, ongoing
trackable way to measure how events,
news coverage and daily operations infl uence
opinion from a regional and national
perspective.”
