ACCGC Board of Directors Meeting The annual ACCGC Board of Directors meeting will be held today. ACCGC Board of Directors The annual ACCGC Board of Directors meeting will be held today, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in room N320G at the Orange County Convention Center-North. Anyone interested in graphic communications program accreditation at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels is welcome to attend. Sixteen graphic communications related associate and baccalaureate degree programs at the following educational institutions have been awarded ACCGC accreditation since the establishment of ACCGC in 1998. They are California Polytechnic State University, California University of Pennsylvania, Ferris State University (MI), Florida A&M University, Georgia Southern University, Harper College (IL), Illinois State University, New York City College of Technology, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Rock Valley College (IL), University of Houston (TX), University of Northern Iowa, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Western Illinois University, and Western Michigan University. The most recent accreditation was formally awarded during the annual 2016 Board of Directors meeting to the Graphic Information Technology program at Arizona State University. By meeting or exceeding the rigid criteria for accreditation that have been established by the ACCGC, these programs have been verifi ed as providing graphic communications education in technology and management that address the needs of today’s industry while turning out well-informed and well-educated graduates. The standard length of an accreditation period is six years with several of the previously named programs having been awarded re-accreditation status.
