Pressero storefronts also include the eDocBuilder personalization and variable-data publishing system, which lets customers customize, proof, and approve documents directly from a Web browser, while text, images, data fi les, QR codes, and bar codes can be merged into the fi nished item. Version 6 of Pressero includes a new feature designed for the label and packaging market. Called Surface Wrap, it lets users view a bottle label as it would appear on the surface on a bottle, which helps verify positioning and how the label wraps around the bottle. Dr. Joe Webb Details the “State of the In-Plant Industry” at IPMA Luncheon Join the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) on Monday, September 26, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, for a special luncheon event. Industry analyst Dr. Joe Webb will present the results of a brand-new study, “The State of the In-Plant Industry: Outlook, Challenges, and Opportunities.” The luncheon will be held in room N310 EF North Building on Level 3. The study, which is being released at GRAPH EXPO, is the result of an extensive survey of in-plant printing departments in a broad cross-section of companies and organizations. Some of the topics that will be covered include: • Where in-plant managers see their biggest growth opportunities—and their biggest challenges; • Which products and services that inplants offer are growing...and which are declining; • How in-plants can increase their value to their parent organization; and • How in-plant departments can better market themselves to their parent organization—and potential thirdparty customers. The presentation and report will offer in-plant managers a “roadmap to growth,” actionable strategies for tackling such challenges as changing technology, decreased demand for certain kinds of print, an aging and retiring workforce, and more. IPMA is also sponsoring The In-Plant Place on the show fl oor at Booth 2425. Compart Offers Comfort at GRAPH EXPO 16 Once again this year, Compart North America (Booth 2073) offers comfort. Trade shows can be tough on the tootsies. So come in, sit down, take your shoes off, and have a foot massage. Relax and chill out. One of the things that comforts Compart customers is that the software works. We hear it all the time: once installed there are rarely any problems. The software is ingeniously architected, does what it is supposed to do, and rarely generates help tickets. Some of the largest vendors in this hall use Compart software to run their machines, and printers and most of their sales people don’t even know it. One of the reasons they don’t know it is because good software is like good offensive linemen: you don’t want to hear their number called, you just want them doing what they do. We can run block and pass protect. We can push and pull. To drive this point home we do not push brochures or demos (all available upon request). We are comfortable with our breadth of experience and knowledge, with our solutions and with our place on the playing fi eld. If you purchase our software solutions, install them correctly, and run them regularly they will prove to be reliable, really useful and very fl exible. So come take a load off. 22 | September 25, 2016 | GRAPH EXPO 16 Offi cial Show Daily | PrintingNews.com
