GTI Demos Soft Proofi ng Packages At GRAPH EXPO 16, GTI Graphic Technology, Inc. (Booth 2273) and Remote Director LLC will demonstrate its series of new soft proofi ng packages. These packages provide all that is needed to implement a complete and successful soft proofi ng solutions. Each package includes a two year subscription for two concurrent seats to Remote Director Software, a USB instrument to calibrate the monitor, and a GTI iQ enabled ISO 3664:2009 compliant viewing system. One desktop and three fl oor stand models are available. During the show Remote Director Version 6.0 software and the GTI 1xiQ desktop soft proofi ng system will be demonstrated live. GTI will also feature its full line of Graphiclite D50 daylight products. GTI’s Graphiclite products are designed for graphic arts applications and comply with ISO 3664:2009, the international standard for viewing in graphic technology and photographic conditions. Our family of Graphiclite D50 daylight products includes small desktop systems, fl oor stand models, optimized pressroom viewing stations, large vertical wall systems, and soft proofi ng systems. GTI will also feature: • EVS-2028/FS: An elegantly designed fl oor stand viewing booth with a 20x28-inch viewing area. The EVS uses GTI’s Graphiclite T8 fl uorescent lamps, which combine with the luminaire’s asymmetrical lens design to ensure consistent illumination on the work surface and rear wall. EVS viewing stations include a built in print bar, horizontal and vertical viewing positions, and LiteGuard II, which displays lamp warm up, lamp hours, and remaining lamp life. During set up the viewing station’s height can be set to accommodate the users viewing environment. Side walls and storage options are optional. Five models are available with viewing areas ranging from 20x28" to 29x52". • VPI-40: Vertical Print Inspector: The VPI Vertical Print Inspector is a D50 viewing station that is designed for the visual inspection of large format prints in a convenient vertical format. When using the VPI the observer can stand at a comfortable distance and visually compare the entire image with a color monitor, transparency, or reference print. The ISO 3664:2009 compliant light quality of the VPI is a combination of the Graphiclite 100 Color Viewing Lamp output, aluminized high effi - ciency refl ectors, and spectrally neutral, non-yellowing diffusers. The VPI comes in three standard sizes with a range of options. Options include variable Intensity for soft proof comparisons, height-adjustable artwork holder to support three dimensional artwork, lower luminaire for better light evenness, and side walls for stricter control of ambient light. • PDV Professional Viewers: PDV Professional Desktop Viewers are the industry’s choice for D50 controlled viewing of small format prints. Utilizing GTI’s Graphiclite 100 color viewing lamps and the EVS-2028/ FS is an elegantly designed fl oor stand viewing booth with a 20x28" viewing area. latest electronic ballasts, the PDV e series guarantees tight compliance to the ISO-3664:2009 standard. All models feature a hinged design for easy set-up, storage, and transport. PDV viewers can also be confi gured with a single D65 light source, please specify when ordering.
